We are pleased to welcome the talented staff of Detroit salon, Sistah's Braid Too! for a workshop celebrating the beauty and resilience of Black hair! This session honors the profound cultural legacy of braiding while equipping participants with the practical skills to maintain natural hair health and integrity.
The workshop introduces the foundations of traditional braiding, covering the mechanics of three-strand braids, cornrows, and box braids. We examine natural hair fundamentals and the principles of protective styling to support hair health and growth. We will also cover natural hair care and maintenance, protective styling fundamentals, and the cultural significance and history of braiding.
This workshop is suitable for ages 10-99!
The first FIVE attendees will also receive a FREE goody bag to help you in your haircare journey valued close to $40.
