Raven Rollins, Rick Rollins, Mandy McNeely, and Jean Gray will be with us!"The True Crime Podcast Festival is coming to Dallas, Texas from the 26th to the 28th of August 2022, at The Westin Park Central. It is commendable to note that this will be the third year that the festival is being hosted. The festival was co-founded by Dallas native and independent podcaster, Lanie Hobbs who with the support of the podcasting community has brought this festival to Chicago, Kansas City, and now, Dallas. About 200 participants are slated to attend the event. The grassroots marketing and word of mouth have made this podcast festival successful every year. This year is no different. The main draw of the podcast festival is the large podcast gallery. Imagine a hall of tables representing the best in the true-crime podcast genre! The podcasters get out from behind the microphones - and from behind their tables - to mix and mingle with podcast listeners. Conversations, selfies, and memories all happen on the floor of our Podcast Gallery."
The festival officially begins on Saturday (August 27) and has been expanded to include live episode stages (no, we will not be doing a live episode.?Sorry!) in addition to a larger (and more secluded) Panel Discussion stage. Saturday Night will include a reception/mixer, and Sunday (August 28) will continue the festivities with a focus on community service building.
The event will end in the early afternoon on Sunday, August 28, leaving attendees free to travel home or enjoy your afternoon site seeing in Dallas, Texas!
