About this Event
Set against the sweeping backdrop of a century of global upheaval, the documentary follows the extraordinary journey of Siranoosh, a woman who finds meaning through her determination to forge bonds and be open to others.
Beginning in the shadow of the 1915 Armenia genocide, through her family’s migration from east to west across Burma and India, and ultimately to the United Kingdom where she raised a family and became an activist in the 1970s, her story captures the struggles and triumphs of adapting to new cultures and building communities across boundaries in unfamiliar lands.
Anchored in the universal themes of love, belonging and identity, this film is a celebration of the human spirit and a tribute to the millions who rebuild their lives after fleeing hardship.
