Founded in 1993, Loyola High School of Detroit is a Catholic School in the Jesuit tradition that provides a quality education to young men with considerable potential regardless of their family’s financial situation. The school is located on the city's northwest side and serves approximately 150 all-male students, predominantly African American young men from the surrounding community.
Loyola prepares students to become men who act with integrity, compassion, and courage -- “Men for Others. Men for Detroit.” Loyola is currently celebrating 14 consecutive years of 100 percent college acceptance among its seniors.
