The Greater Baltimore Chapter of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) is excited to announce our fall event! Join us at Checkerspot Brewing Company on September 25th for a Sips 'N Science event. This is a casual meeting where we will here from 3 women in STEM about their career paths.
The first 20 attendees will recieve a complimentary drink ticket. Food will be available for purchase. Doors open at 5pm, there is free street parking availible on Ridgely St. and Alluvion St. There is also parking availible in Lot O, an attendant will be present if it is paid parking. While there is no enforced dress code, feel free to dress buisness casual, if accessible.
Do not be discouraged if eventbrite says it’s sold out, this is for promotional purposes. Entry is free of charge. This event is open to both AWIS members and non-members. Non-binary and gender non-confirming folks are encouraged to attend.
Come learn about some of the amazing work being done in the Baltimore area and network with other women in STEM! Don’t miss this exciting event and the chance to meet and connect with other local women in STEM!
