What does black tea taste like when it comes from its birthplace and what changes when the same tea plant is grown on Dutch soil?

Sips from the Fields is a guided tasting experience exploring two contrasting tea landscapes: Tongmuguan in Wuyi Mountain, the birthplace of Lapsang Souchong and one of the earliest black teas in the world, and Het Zuyderblad, the first tea plantation in the Netherlands. Through two carefully selected black teas, the session explores how terroir, climate, and cultivation shape flavour across cultures.

This is a relaxed yet focused sensory workshop for tea lovers, curious beginners, and anyone interested in taste, landscape, and cultural exchange.
