Join us at VEND Annerley for a creative way to swap your clothes with someone else's epic wardrobe, catch up with friends and make a statement necklace to wear!
Who is this workshop for?
This event is perfect for anyone who has some epic pieces of clothing in their wardrobe and doesn't want to have to sell them on faceook marketplace or shlep them to a market. These are pieces that are crying out for a new owner so come and swap your pieces for someone elses epic clothes and have fun while doing so!
Here’s how it works:
-Bring along 10 pieces of gently loved, freshly washed, and ironed clothing (no fast fashion or chain-store items, please!) and trade them for 10 tokens.
2. While we set up the racks, unleash your creativity by designing your very own statement necklace from a curated stash of gorgeous beads.
3. Sip on a welcome drink (coffee or juice from the cafe) as you connect with others and enjoy the vibe.
After the first hour, move into the swap market and let the swapping begin! Use your tokens to "shop" from a selection of stylish pieces brought by others.
What’s included with your ticket?
-A welcome cocktail or mocktail.
-All materials to create your own unique necklace.
-10 tokens to exchange for fresh wardrobe finds.
IMPORTANT: The venue at VEND in Annerley is a warehouse and is only accessible via stairs. Please let me know if you would like to know about more accessible venues.

What if I have more than 10 items?
Feel free to bring extra, but you’ll only receive 10 tokens to swap. The more pieces we have, the more epic the swap!
What if I don’t have 10 items?
We do need 10 pieces per person to make the swap work. You can team up with a friend to meet the minimum.
What happens if I don’t find 10 pieces?
Just like any shopping trip, there’s a chance you won’t find everything you’re looking for. But we guarantee you’ll leave with a fabulous necklace, new memories, and a great time!
What can I bring?
Adult clothing only – no underwear, swimwear, or activewear. ** NO ACCESSORIES at this swap as accessories will have their moment at a future swap event!
What happens to unclaimed clothes?
You may take any of your own unclaimed items home after the swap is declared complete. Any unclaimed items will be donated same day to DoOp Shop jusr around the corner.
Do-Op Shop is an op-shop with a difference! They are a non-religious charity, donating directly to local causes. Grab your ticket, bring your wardrobe treasures, and get ready to sip, string, and swap your way to a refreshed style!
