Have you ever wondered what a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is, or how people use them to make giving easier and more impactful? You’re not alone — it’s one of the most common questions we hear from our supporters and community members who want to give purposefully but aren’t sure where to start. That’s why ShelterCare is excited to launch our new "Smart Giving Series, Sip & Snack" — a relaxed, one-hour evening conversation designed to help you learn simple, practical ways to make your charitable giving go further.
We’d love for you to join us for our first session, featuring Oregon Community Foundation's Donor Relations Officer, Hadee Sabzalian. He will discuss the benefits of a Donor Advised Fund and how one can create a more intentional, lasting impact with your planned giving goals by funding causes that are important to you. There will be time after for Q&A.
Complimentary Wine, Non-Alcoholic beverages, and light appetizers will be served.
Please RSVP by emailing Jen at [email protected]
