Want a day out with great food and great music for the whole family? Returning for a second year running, Sip N Strum community music festival is here to give you that summer festival feeling.Run by Gregory Cook local performer and music teacher, Sip and Strum festival aims to showcase the talents of up and coming musicians who will be on the bill alongside established performers. Expect everything from primary school students showcasing their ukulele skills, to community groups dropping a series of familiar tunes, to professional performers showcasing their sets.
As a community family festival, it will be child friendly with no expletives in the songs selected but there will not be no shortage of recognizable renditions of famous tunes for the adults to sing along to as well.
So 12 til 7PM, June 28th, usher in the summer and come along for the fun.
