Yes, YOU are the choir for one night! No judgment, no audition, no pressure and no prep. Come sing your heart out on a choral arrangement of the epic rock anthem Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey, all accompanied by a fabulous 4-piece band! ALL ARE WELCOME, regardless of vocal ability or experience! Whether you just like to sing in the shower, your car, at karaoke, or are a seasoned pro, you belong!
We’ll raise our collective voices as one, and create something bigger than ourselves in a room full of other passionate music lovers. It’s simple and super fun!
Ages 21+ for this event location. Drinks & snacks available for purchase from our wonderful host venue, High Wire Distilling.
***WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT?***
Palmetto Choral Collective's SIP & SING event is an opportunity for anyone to sing in a casual choir setting for one night only. No auditions and no ongoing commitment. Just show up and sing!
It’s an inclusive celebration of an epic song, while coming together in community to sing in harmony and make a little magic.
*PLAN FOR 2 HOURS.* In our time together, we'll:
1. Play some fun singing & connection games/warmups
2. Work through our song, part by part, section by section
3. Rehearse with the band, work out dynamics and polish up our parts
4. Record a casual “performance” video once we feel ready, so we can have the memory for ourselves and to share with the community
Perfection not required – No judgement, and no stress. Just do your best, be kind to yourself and others, and have a blast!

You may want to give it a few listens before the event to refresh your memory or become familiar with it if you’re not. Our choral arrangement will be slightly different, and so much fun!
We will split into parts, and you will be taught your parts. We will have sheet music/lyric sheets available for anyone who would like them, but it’s not necessary. Each part will have a vocal leader to keep us all on track, but remember, no need to get it perfect. It’s more about connection, expression and fun!
This will all be facilitated by our artistic leadership team at Palmetto Choral Collective, PLUS a Special Guest TBA!

PLEASE BE ON TIME
We ask that you arrive no later than 5 minutes after our start time in order to build and preserve our special musical container for the evening. If you plan to order snacks and drinks, please get your first round before our start time.
By attending, you consent to being a part of any photographs and/or videos taken at the event, some of which may be posted online.
This event is produced by, and raises funds for Palmetto Choral Collective. All profits go to help provide scholarships for our regular choral programs, so that we can continue building an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming secular choral community for youth and adults, where every voice is valued, empowered, and inspired to shine!
