Wine lovers talk about something called terroir. It’s the idea that soil composition, minerality, climate, altitude, and the sun’s path across the sky all affect the flavor and quality of the grapes and, ultimately, the wine.Terroir is the idea that PLACE matters to taste, and at our upcoming Sip & Savor event on January 29 at Anna Maria Oyster Bar UTC, we’re going to flip that idea upside down and go underwater. We’ll look at how the SEA in a given area affects the flavors of the oysters that are grown there.
