Award-winning Brooklyn poet and author Keisha-Gaye Anderson will lead this generative writing workshop. Let's sip and scribe our scariest stories, inspired by poets whose works explore all things spooky.

About the instructor: Keisha-Gaye Anderson is a Jamaican-born poet, writer, visual artist, and media strategist based in Brooklyn, NY. She is the author of the poetry collections Gathering the Waters, Everything Is Necessary, and A Spell for Living, which received the Editors’ Choice recognition for Agape’s Numinous Orisons, Luminous Origin Literary Award. Keisha’s poetry, fiction, and essays have been widely published in national literary journals, magazines, and anthologies. She has received fellowships or residencies from Brooklyn Public Library, Marthat's Vineyard Institute for Creative Writing, NY Foundation for the Arts, Callaloo writing workshop, VONA writing workshop, and others. Keisha holds an M.F.A. in creative writing from The City College, CUNY, and regularly teaches at Poets House. Learn more about her at www.keishagaye.ink.
