For over two thousand years, the area south of the river has been known for its wild and unruly side. From Roman times to the 20th century, Southwark has gained a reputation as a place of vice and debauchery and we often hear about the men who shaped this history but what about the women?
Enter Herstorical Tours, here to set the record straight with a special theatrical tour for East End Women’s Museum audiences.
Starting at Southwark Cathedral and ending on Red Cross Way, you’ll visit lesser-known spots and see Southwark from a new perspective.
At the journey's end, you'll have the option to join your guide for a drink in a local Edwardian pub to digest what you’ve experienced!
