The evening is a fun relaxed social gathering with no set format. Don't worry if you are not feeling brave enough to chat, I'm there to help and introduce you and remember there are going to be other nervous singles there so be kind and considerate. If you are confident and see someone alone then make them feel welcome.

If you see someone you like and do not want to ask them for their number then I will contact you within a couple of days and I can pass on your message and see if they feel the same way.

• Talk to as many people as you can
• If you're coming with friends, try to split off from one another, otherwise, you risk not mingling with new people
• Try not to sit or stand with your back to the room
• If you're struggling to mingle, come and find your host, who will introduce you to some people
• Keep your eye on your drink - remember you're out with people you don't know!

• This is not a speed dating event
• An even mix of ladies and gents is not guaranteed and is open to singles over 35s upwards
• If there are fewer than 20 people booked on within 24 hours of the event it may be cancelled. Where this is the case, you'll have the option to transfer your ticket to another event of the same value, or be refunded
• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable (unless Love in Sync cancel an event)

• DO be nice, kind and polite
• DO be considerate of others
• DON'T hog one person all night - let others socialise with them too
• DON'T assume someone is interested in you romantically just because they're talking to you or assume you can hug or kiss them.
• DON'T be rude or you will be asked to leave.
• And most importantly - if someone says no - they mean NO
