Mini Dates by Halifax Matchmaker: Meet, Mingle, Connect
Our Mini Dates Events typically host 20-30 people. You’ll be paired up for multiple mini dates throughout the event, with each date lasting between 7-10 minutes. We include a quick intermission in the middle to refresh.
Before the event, we ask everyone to create a dating profile with us (if you don’t already have one). During the event, our focus is on being present, enjoying conversations, and creating a no-pressure atmosphere. After the event concludes, you’ll have a moment to update your profile with anything you may have wanted to mention but forgot (the time goes by quickly!).
Once the update cutoff has passed, you’ll receive dating profiles of everyone you met. These profiles will appear in your introductions list, where you can privately indicate to our matchmakers if you’re interested or not in exploring a connection. For any mutual interest, a chat bubble will appear beside the name, signaling that you’ve matched. Click the chat bubble to begin chatting within the platform, maintaining privacy without needing to share personal contact details.

To keep your account organized and focused, any introductions that do not turn into a match will be removed from your introductions list. We encourage arranging in-person dates soon to keep the spark alive!

After Purchasing a Ticket:
You'll receive an email with sign-in details to access your member portal and complete a complimentary dating profile. After the event, profiles of all participants will be sent to your member portal within 24 hours. You'll then have the opportunity to select "Interested" or "Not Interested" for each match. Mutual interests will unlock the ability to chat within the portal, allowing you to explore your connection further.
Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable.
