FEATURED HEADLINER: Iris Hill
Iris Hill (she/they) is a transgender author of short fiction from Calgary, Alberta. Her horror stories ask the reader to sympathise with monsters and confront the dangers of capitulating to abusive powers. She is also involved in the Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society, and has spoken at When Words Collide, advocating for queer artists to share their stories. Her work is featured in the anthology Prairie Witch.

The Single Onion Open Mic Night will be held on the second Thursday in January, as the first Thursday is New Year’s Day. Otherwise, find us on the first Thursday of every month.
Sign-up starts at 7 pm (10 spots). Our MC for the evening is Josephine LoRe.
