I'll be teaching three "classes" on spirits this fall at NCC. Each is limited to 20 people, and we'll go through a variety of spirits at each.October: Single Malt
No spirit has boomed in recent decades more than the single malt whiskey. From Scotland and beyond, the use of a single distillery's fermentation of barley allows whiskey makers to showcase a powerful palate identity. We'll taste single malt whiskeys from around the world and get a sense of the broad range of flavors that make the style so sought-after.
