About this Event

Welcome to the Singing the Faith Conference!

Date: Tuesday January 28 2025

Location: Seattle Pacific University, Upper Gwinn Commons

Lyrics stick with us in ways other written forms of communication do not. The songs we sing in personal devotions and in corporate worship shape the way we think about the God we serve. This conference marks the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed by exploring the relationship between theology and song. We will look at practical tips for songwriters, worship leaders, and pastors.

Breakout sessions include: a) “Planning Locally, Thinking Ecumenically;” b) “Working Together Well—Best Practices to Strengthen the Pastor/Worship Leader Relationship” and c) “Songwriting Theologically Rich Songs for the Local Church.”
