We’re back for a full day of dynamic and fun-filled music-making and theatre activities led by Lynsey Docherty and Rob Gildon for people of all ages with learning disabilities. Join us, together with the pro festival singers and our special guest tutor - composer Tim Gilvin, as we create our very own piece of music theatre!
This participatory workshop day is tailored to the needs of our students (and their caregivers!), culminating in a short performance of our brand new show. Using words and melodies from the participants, we create new lyrics and songs, we move and dance, all to encourage confidence, self-expression and a sense of shared community.
Pizza is provided!
Lynsey Docherty is the Artistic Director of Celebrate Voice and has directed voice projects for national arts organisations for over 20 years. Rob Gildon is a celebrated leader in his field for music projects for people from all cross-sections of society, including the most vulnerable.
