Like all Tuneless Choirs, the emphasis is very much on “singing like no one is listening.” Everyone is welcome to use their voice in whatever way feels comfortable, no pressure, no judgement and definitely no auditions.
If you’ve ever been told you can’t sing in tune, or you know you lack the practice, ability, or confidence to do so, then this really is the choir for you.
We return in the New Year on Thursday 15th January and meet fortnightly, with the following session on 29th January. We’re based at Tonbridge Methodist Church on Higham Lane TN10 4JG. Doors open from 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start, and we sing until 9:00pm, with a refreshment break halfway through.
We sing from a projector screen, so all lyrics are displayed, no music reading required. Our repertoire includes popular songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, some 90s and 00s, as well as songs from musicals and films.
Sessions cost £9.00 pay-as-you-go, with both cash and card accepted.
