The Science and Spirit of the Human Voice is a one-day

workshop exploring the intersection of physiology, sound, and

consciousness.

The morning grounds us in the mechanics of

the voice: breath, resonance, and vibration while the afternoon

opens into intuitive vocal sound work and singing in spirit.

Through technical understanding, guided vocal exploration, and

deep collective singing, participants will experience how the

human voice becomes both instrument and conduit, where

science meets the sacred, and sound itself becomes the

medicine.

Morning: 10.00am Start

You and Your Voice as The Instrument

Focus: Understanding and freeing the physical voice

Short technical talk: The anatomy of the vocal cords, resonance,

and placement. How vibration literally moves through tissue and

air.

10:15am

Guided technique: Breath, resonance alignment, and freeing the

authentic sound and building confidence without ego. This will also

include a fun warm up, scales, modes and vocal techniques including

speech level singing, overtones and improvisation.

Late Morning – The Embodied Voice -10.45am – 12.45pm

When we sing together our heartbeats synchronise

Group singing, harmony, and emotional release. This is where

intellect meets feeling and structure gives way to connection

Afternoon – Singing in Spirit - 1.30pm-4.30pm

1.30pm

Focus: Extended intuitive vocal sound-work – singing in spirit and truth.

A short talk about sound, integration, quantum interaction and

penetration

2.00pm

The deep dive: Begin with grounding breath and toning.

2.30pm

Move into spontaneous vocal exploration.

3.00pm – 4.00pm

Introduce the gongs, bowls, and resonant instruments gradually let

them weave through the human voices in relationship to the resonances.

4.00pm-4.30pm

Closing – Integration

This centres the afternoon as the spiritual heart of the day — a long,

unhurried immersion in vibrational exploration.
