Singapore River Walking Tour With Experienced Local Guide

Forget what you think you know about Singapore’s clean and pristine reputation. Once a very different kind of city, a fledgling port that went to the brink of disaster, the Singapore River’s story is the most dramatic before-and-after in the country’s history.

This walk along the banks of the Singapore River takes you back to a time before buildings of brick and mortar, travelling through time, witnessing the changes till what you see today.

Join us on this walk of discovery and enjoy the Singapore River in a completely new way.

Please take note of the following:

1. The meeting place is at the front of Six Battery Road front portch (nearest MRT is Raffles Place MRT Exit H).
2. This tour is scheduled for about 2 hours depending on the group size & walking pace.
3. Choose attire (including shoes) that keeps you cool and comfortable for extended walking and standing.
4. Due to the nature of this tour, we do not recommend bringing young children, especially with strollers or prams.
5. Have your water bottles with you to stay hydrated.
6. Bring an umbrella as this is a rain or shine event.

Instructions to meeting point

1. When you get to Exit H of the Raffles Place MRT, you will see an escalator heading up to ground level.
2. Take the escalator up till you see the exit.
3. At the exit, turn left and you will see a short flight of stairs.
4. Take the stairs and you will be at the porch where we will meet.
