REGISTRATION
One ticket per webcam. You will receive an email with the relevant links (including lyrics) two hours before the session, and again ten minutes before the session. Please check your junk folder as often the email ends up here. If you haven't received your email before the session starts, please email [email protected]
LYRICS
You will receive a link to the relevant lyrics prior to the session. It is suggested that you access these on a different device (e.g. phone/iPad) during the Zoom session.
ABOUT
Set up by vocal leader James Sills as a response to global self isolation during the Coronavirus outbreak, The Sofa Singers bring together hundreds of people in real time for simultaneous singing, learning classic songs with some optional harmonies/backing parts.
Sing as if no-one is listening.... because they won't be -due to to latency (delay) it is not possible to synchronise and hear all of the singers the same time. So you will hear the session leader, whilst you and the rest of the participants remain on mute. But you will be able to see each other so sing with a smile!
UNDER 18s
This session is for everyone, but anyone under the age of 18 should be accompanied on camera by an adult.
RECORDING and PHOTOS
Recording of the session is not permitted by participants for copyright reasons. Please do not compromise the privacy of participants by taking photographs/screenshots of the gallery.
