Athens First United Methodist Church is pleased to host a free concert featuring Broadway performer Nick Cosgrove on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM at 2 South College Street in Athens across from the city parking garage. The concert is free thanks to a gift from Martha and Steve Sloan. The church’s large sanctuary is frequently used as an attractive venue for local and Ohio University choral groups and musical performances.The show entitled “All the Way” from Sinatra to Bublé will feature familiar music that was made famous by performers Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé and written by some of the greatest songwriters of the American songbook. Nick will be accompanied by pianist, Jeff Daubenmire. Admission is free and there will be a reception to follow where concert attendees can meet and greet the performers.
One of Nick’s many credits in the musical world was his portrayal of the role of Frankie Valli in the hit musical Jersey Boys. He was a member of the national touring companies and performed the role on Broadway. Nick hails from the Chicago area and attended Carnegie Mellon University. He is in demand as a solo artist and teacher and performs frequently in many venues throughout the United States.
