Simply Sustainable invites you to our Investor ready reporting roundtable on 29th November 2023
About this Event

Financial markets make capital decisions on your sustainability disclosure; is your reporting exposing you to greenwashing risk or future proofing your business? Is your business ready for a new wave of sustainability compliance?

To support the launch of our newest reporting tool and the publication of our insight paper: Investor ready reporting with IFRS Sustainability Standards, please join us on 29th November 2023 for our exclusive Breakfast Roundtable Event where guest speaker Kimberley Lewis, Head of Active Ownership at Schroders, will be joining Simply Sustainable’s Ed Packshaw, Head of Reporting and Communications, to discuss what’s at the forefront of investors’ minds when reporting your business’s sustainability performance. We will be discussing the evolution of non-financial reporting, the congruence of standards and frameworks, what disclosures investors are looking for, and how to plan for the future.

There are a very limited number of spaces available at the table so please register here asap to confirm your seat. Please note the event will use the Chatham House Rule.

DATE: Wednesday 29th November 2023

TIME: 8am – 10am

LOCATION: The Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London

Continental breakfast will be provided.

RAC dress code can be found here.

In July of this year, IFRS published its General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information; these standards require corporates to disclose information on the sustainability risks and opportunities that could affect the entity’s prospects. With over 30 nations already pledging to integrate this into compliance in 2024, including the United Kingdom, now is the time to capitalise on this opportunity to consolidate disclosures whilst aligning with financial market reporting expectations. The convergence of GRI, SASB, CDP and TCFD will make reporting more streamlined for organisations to communicate with financial stakeholders who use these disclosures to make capital allocation decisions.

The event will be supporting charity Care4Calais, a meaningful charity for Simply Sustainable. As a business we donate essential items and have individuals volunteering at the charity. We kindly ask for a £30 donation with your roundtable ticket to help us raise money so Care4Calais can continue to provide important services, including food, shelter, clothing, language lessons etc to help improve the living conditions of those seeking refuge in unliveable conditions.

We hope to see you on Wednesday 29th November and please do advise us of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance.
