This workshop is designed for the contemporary seeker who is looking for a reliable tool to help bring clarity and insight into a daily practice, while strengthening one’s intuition, affirming hunches, and serving as an ally to support and foster personal growth.Join us to explore this unique, comprehensive, yet simplified approach to working with the classic tarot. Suitable for newbies or for those looking to be reacquainted with the basics of Tarot to build a foundation to expand upon, this workshop will send you home with a basic understanding of the tarot systems, simply decoded card meanings, card spreads, and more. Participants will receive a number of helpful handouts (including a full 78 image set of the tarot cards for colouring and learning from) to continue the practice at home.
The stream-lined protocols offered for reading the cards can be layered for complexity as one is ready to do so. Rather than facing the daunting task of memorizing 78 cards off the bat, you will be able to assimilate less information that is relevant to groupings of cards, yet still gleaning unique meanings with each card. And we’ll set your mind at ease over the ‘scary’ cards in the deck.
We will base our study on the classic decks (Rider Waite Smith & contemporary decks that are based on it) and briefly discuss the similarities and differences among tarot decks. I will have an inventory of classic decks in stock, should you wish to purchase one to use, otherwise, please bring a deck with you.
