Come prepare your heart and mind for the New Year with When Women Come to Pray. We will gather for an enriching day of stillness, simplicity, and soul-centered connection at the beautiful Stillpoint Wellness in Asheville. This retreat is an invitation to slow down, soften, and return to your natural rhythm—one of presence, ease, and quiet joy.

Through music, yoga practices, gentle meditation, restorative art-making, and moments of shared reflection, we’ll explore what it means to create spaciousness inside and out. Together, we’ll tend to the subtle art of being rather than doing, allowing the wisdom of stillness to realign us with what truly matters.
A nourishing lunch will be provided, and all materials for the day’s creative and contemplative practices will be included.

Luna Ray is an SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) and is ERYT-200 Yoga Certified. For over 15 years, Luna has been leading a variety of body-centered classes, workshops and retreats locally and internationally. She is a musician and international recording artist, and is an activist for developing holistic and sustainable community collaboration models. Luna is a co-founder of local nonprofit, When Women Come to Pray.
Laura Billings is an educational reformer, a yogini, and interfaith minister who weaves cognitive awareness, meditation, and heart-centered devotional chanting into her offerings. After earning a doctorate in education from UNC Chapel Hill, Laura co-led the National Paideia Center—a nonprofit supporting K-12 teachers—and coauthored several articles and books on collaborative dialogue and critical thinking. Laura has led offerings at several women’s prisons, correctional centers, and low-income senior housing.
Jennifer White is an intuitive guide who supports women in reconnecting to their inner wisdom. As a coach and creative facilitator, she weaves together imagery, imagination, and compassionate self-inquiry to help women rediscover their clarity, confidence, and calm. Through SoulCollage® and guided reflection, Jennifer helps participants access their innate strengths and reshape the stories that hold them back. She especially loves working with mothers and women in seasons of transition, offering tools that bring ease, presence, and renewed connection.
