Improve your sewing skills and confidence with this workshop designed to help you improve some basic sewing skills. In this workshop you will create a simple shoulder bag and implement the following techniques:-Cutting fabric using a pattern
-Sewing straight seams
-Creating box corners
-Creating shoulder straps and using interfacing
-Sewing right side to right side and turning out.
-Sewing buttons
Please bring your sewing machine, thread, bobbins and your sewing machine manual with you. We do ask you have a basic knowledge of how to set up your machine, if you need a refresher on this, please feel free to attend our Introduction to your Sewing Machine workshop in the morning.
This workshop will be taking place in our Court Yard View Room which is located on the 1st floor and is only accessible via a winding staircase. Our team will be happy to help you carry your sewing machine upstairs if required
