The second event within our Autumn shows this year is a BIG one! It's our 22nd Birthday & we are excited to share sets from the amazing Ben UFO & Batu.In 2007, Ben UFO founded Hessle Audio with Pearson Sound & Pangaea. Ben UFO originally started off his music taste being inspired by the dubstep sound, similar to the music played at the DMZ & Sub Dub events. He is known as being an amazing selector with all of the perfect mixing skills. The music that he delivers to his crowd can range from house & garage to dubstep & grime but he's also known tforplaying tracks from artists like Blawan & Joy Orbison. Ben UFO is a regular for playing on the well-established RinseFM series. For the variety of the music & genres that he plays on RinseFM, he was placed #35 in a Resident Advisor readers’ poll to find the years best DJ. Expect a little of the unknown into the world of electronic music from Ben UFO for our birthday celebration!
Then we have Bristol based DJ & producer; Batu. He delivers his British bassbin principles with his 12"'s on labels including his own record label Timedance as well as Hessle Audio & XL Recordings. Batu's DJing is respected worldwide. He's given Bristol a well respected name within the music industry. Batu pushes boundaries. He has created series of standout EPs, remixes for Sampha & R&S Records, establishing Timedance as one of the most vital proponents of fresh UK dance music. Batu is recognised for playing at world-renowned festivals including Dekmantel where his set earned him a place in The Guardian’s ‘Best Mixes of 2018’ list. He's also played at Dimensions festival, Field Day, Unsound & More. In 2017, Mixmag ranked him as one of their top 20 DJs.

IMPORTANT entry conditions:
The venue operates an anti-tout ID matching policy to ensure music-lovers pay no more than the face value of a ticket. The name on your ticket must match your ID. You may sell/buy purchased tickets, but it must be done through the original ticket agent’s resale system to securely transfer tickets into the new buyer’s name at face value.
For sold-out events many music-lovers are left wanting tickets, often braving the elements outside in a queue. The venue will only guarantee entry for ticket holders until MIDNIGHT, after then it will sell up to capacity, operating on a one-out-one-in basis. For group purchases, everyone in your group must arrive at the same time.

Covid policy –
For the safety of public, staff and all friends and family The Bullingdon have worked with Oxford City Council and have put the following policies in place.
- If you feel ill and/or have any symptoms of covid do not come to the venue
- Everyone including public, acts and staff MUST show proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (from the date of event) or double vaccination certification (QR code). These must be done before visiting the venue and can be picked up for free from pharmacies including Boots. For more details visit

- Masks will be worn by all staff and we encourage our visitors to do so as much as possible
- We have state of the art ventilation which air circulation far exceeds government guidelines
- Dedicated staff will be cleaning our toilet facilities throughout the night. Please respect them and our building by being as tidy as possible
- Hand sanitiser is available at various points in the venue
- Deep cleans of the venue are performed after every event
- NHS track and trace QR codes are displayed around the venue. Whilst it is not mandatory to check in we do encourage everyone to do so
- We will be operating cashless bars for the foreseeable future to reduce cross contamination
- Please respect everyone's space and choices. Some visitors may still be nervous about being in a crowd. It is still their right to enjoy the music and dance
