Let's get into some kitchen magic!
Together we will learn to safely make simmer pots with herbal goodness. We will also explore several applications for these delightful simmered scents, including skin care, respiratory care, and home fragrance.
Each participant will receive an overview demonstration of how to create a well balanced simmer pot blend. Then, everyone will have the chance to make an herb & fruit mixture to take home and use.
This class is great because:
-> Learning to support our physical health and wellness is a cornerstone to self care
-> A well stocked home apothecary is an ideal step toward preventative health care
-> Creating sustainable wellness products is key to a better understanding of our relationship with our environment
-> Utilizing readily available herbs, including those that can be grown at home, improves self sufficiency and community mutual aid efforts
-> There will be plenty of time for questions
-> This class is best suited for adults and children 13 years and older
-> We like hanging out together & learning new things!
This is an in person class at a physical location. Free onsite parking and nearby free public parking is available.
In order to keep our community as safe as possible, anyone with the following symptoms is asked to stay home and contact us for a credit or refund.
* A fever in the last two days of 100°F or above
* Currently have or have recently had any coughing, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, or flu symptoms
*Have been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days (two weeks) who has been diagnosed with Covid-19, Coronavirus type symptoms, or the flu
