(The PREREQUISITE for this class is Level 1 Silversmithing, Level 2 Silversmithing, & Silversmithing Level 3 - Layered Soldering/Applique )
In this level 4 earring class students will focus on hoop earrings with soldered posts. A variety of non post hoops will also be covered for those who prefer ear wires instead. In class you’ll work in sterling, fine silver and copper adding textures and embellishments. You’ll leave class with at least one pair of hoops and likely several depending on the complexity of your design choices. This class incorporates sweat soldering so please be sure you’ve taken the Silversmithing Level 3 Layered Soldering/Applique class first.
There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.
