(The PREREQUISITES for this class is Silversmithing Level 1 - Butane Torch & Silversmithing Level 2 -Jewelry Soldering or prior butane torch silver soldering)
Create elegant tube setting of faceted stones. Students will learn to set faceted stones that are 5mm or less and incorporate the stone setting in their one of a kind piece. Tube settings can add dimension, depth, and sparkle to any jewelry designs. Students are encouraged to bring additional materials to add embellishments to their jewelry designs.
You will learn :
Drilling to create seat for faceted stone
Tube cutting and leveling
Create strong hold to drill safely
Learn to use setting punches
Create wax tool to pick up small stones

There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.
Our classroom is located upstairs and are limited to 6 students for this class.
