Level 1 - Meet The Butane Torch Holiday Gift Edition

IN THIS SPECIAL Holiday Gifting Edition Torch Basics class students will learn safety and use of the butane micro torch, while creating adjustable rings. These are perfect for gift giving or complimenting your own holiday wardrobe. In class, we’ll cover all the basic equipment for fire use, flame control, cleaning metals, gauging, annealing, work hardening, flattening, texturing, and shaping wire. Students will explore working with sterling silver, fine silver, and copper. This is also the prerequisite class for continued silversmithing work and the many possibilities it offers.
There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.
All other tools will be available for use.
