Price: $260 + $50 Kit fee (see bold below)
This 4 session fundamentals course is designed for complete beginners or those just needing a refresh. The course covers 4 Level One and Two silversmithing classes with a package discount . You will establish a solid silversmithing foundation through learning your way around the butane torch, basic silver soldering, layered sweat soldering and creating shapes from sheet metal with the jeweler’s saw. The course also covers fire safety and tools/materials needed to set up a work area at home with minimal space and cost. You will begin creating a variety of pendants, earrings and rings immediately.
There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.
All other tools will be available for use.
