SilverBackTrails Goathland V (5) Trig Challenge Ultra for runners & walkers. Starting and finishing from the Village Hall in the beautiful setting of Goathland, in The North York Moors National Park, the fictional village of Aidensfield in the popular Police drama Heartbeat which was filmed there for many years. Runners or walkers will navigate themselves around a course of circa 37 miles visiting five listed structures otherwise known as Triangulation Pillars. The route is one of your own choosing as long as public rights of way are used and the Triangulation Pillars are visited in the order given to you on the morning of the event. Participants will need to be self-supported however there will be 3 CP locations providing some snacks and drinks. Registration will take place at Goathland Village Hall from 7:30 am with a mass start at 8:30 am. All finishers will receive a certificate, a memento and a cloth badge to remember their achievement by. There will be a hot meal tea/ coffee provided at the end for all those taking part.
