Silverback Swing performs acoustic jazz of the 1920's to 1940's in the style of Django Reinhardt. Music from French cafés of a bygone era. Gypsy jazz, swing music of the 20’s and 30’s, in the style of the great Belgian-born Roma guitarist, Django Reinhardt. This style of music combines traditional jazz elements with upbeat tempos and intricate guitar improvisation. Silverback Swing have been performing as an acoustic jazz quartet in New England for over 8 years, with Mark Anagnostopulos on rhythm guitar and vocals, Alton Lathrop on lead guitar, Gus Hollingsworth on accordion and vocals, and Steve Frankel on bass. 🌟
