Spring is a perfect season for creative experiments! It's time to make your own gorgeous twisted silver ring (or a gift for a loved one!)in this inspiring 3-hour class. Learn to measure your finger, soften and apply a decorative twist to square metal bar. Once you have the hang of the twist, you can move onto working in solid silver square bar - creating a twisted length or giving it a feature twisted section. Students are then taught to solder using a jewellers torch. The final steps of forming, finishing and polishing, then your beautiful new ring will be ready to wear.
This 3-hour class is ideal for beginners, groups of friends and visitors to the city. A fantastic activity if you have enjoyed one of our other taster sessions!
The class fee is $115 Early Bird (till 14 September) or $128 afterwards. This includes up to 6 grams of sterling silver and all consumables such as sandpaper, solder and chemicals. Extra metals are available for purchase in the studio.
Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
