This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their own silver spinner ring.
During this workshop you'll learn techniques such as measuring, ring sizing, forming, texturing and soldering to create your own silver spinner ring.
Some techniques will be practised roughly in copper to allow for experiment and play before going on to create one spinner ring with up to x2 spinners in sterling silver.
During this workshop refreshments will be provided. We will take a short break for lunch and it is recommended you bring a packed lunch along.
Places are limited to eight people on this workshop to allow individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist with each project.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Due to the nature of the tools and conditions/hazards involved in making jewellery, we are unable to accept anyone under the age of 16. Attendees must be able to listen to and follow instructions carefully.
There will be some fiddly work involved when making jewellery, attendees should be able to have a certain level of dexterity to be able to use tools such as pliers. Please be aware that freshly manicured nails may not survive.
When you turn up for your workshop please ensure you are wearing suitable clothing, such as jeans, and no open-toed footwear. Any long hair will need to be tied up. This is for health and safety as the majority of our workshops involve the use of torches/heat and heavy tools.
