This is for all the passionate runners of Cape Town! When last did you have the opportunity to run a race on a runway, at an Air Force Base?!We the Friends of the SAAF Museum( volunteers) are delighted to become part of this amazing event which takes place at the South African Air Force Base, Ysterplaat in CT.
For many years this event has taken place but Covid saw the end of it temporarily but now we are back in full force to make this event become an amazing experience. You do NOT want to miss this and what makes it even more exciting is that it takes place in the evening.
Once your race is done and have cooled down, the Friends of SAAF Museum, Ysterplaat will be there to rehydrate you with most drinks and to full those tummy gaps with our famous boerewors rolls and hamburgers. Your supper served and all at great prices. Yes we do have card facilities so no need to worry about scratching around for cash at the last minute.
You will even get the chance to get up close and personal with our fantastic Museum Aircraft which is not always possible.
