Silver Lake Walk Club Griffith Park Hike and Winter Solstice Ornament Excha

Celebrate the winter solstice with a gentle morning hike to the Griffith Observatory and a sweet ornament exchange with Silver Lake Walk Club!

We will meet at The Trails Cafe for coffee, community, and a relaxed start before heading up the trail together.

This hike is very easy and great for beginners. At the end of the hike we will gather at Ferndell Park to exchange wrapped ornaments in a cozy and festive moment. This event is rain or shine.

There is parking along the trail and near The Trails Cafe.

If parking is tricky please use the coordinates for overflow parking:

Note if you are using the coordinates above: Signal can be spotty near the lot so please download the map ahead of time. The Trails Cafe is a short walk from the parking area coordinates and easy to find once you arrive.

If it rains we will meet at Kettl Tea in Los Feliz for a winter solstice ornament exchange, matcha and yap instead of the hike. I will send a mass e-mail a day before the event if that is the plan!
