About this Event
In this relaxed 4-hour jewellery making class you’ll learn how to use flowers and greenery to create your own silver clay necklace, transforming natural textures into handmade jewellery treasures. Unleash your inner artist!
Surrounded by mountains in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand, you’ll be guided through every step, from making a reusable botanical mould to learning the essentials of metal clay: shaping, texturing, sanding, firing, and polishing your very own piece of fine silver jewellery. No experience necessary!
Made from 100% recycled silver, silver clay becomes 99.9% pure fine silver once fired, so your creation is both beautiful and sustainable!
Your workshop fee includes a 7g pack of Art Clay Silver, a mould, and a selection of botanicals, enough to make at least one pendant. Chains will be available to purchase on the day (card payments accepted).
Please bring a bottle of water and any other snacks or lunch you would like. There are two cafes and a restaurant at Country Lane. For safety, wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair. If you would like an apron for the class feel free to bring one along!
As spaces are limited, advance booking is essential. Once payment is received, your place is confirmed. Refunds are only possible if we can fill your space, so please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t attend.
Please note: this workshop is not suitable for anyone under 16 years old.
