About this Event
Children's Capital of Culture and Grimm & Co are joining forces to deliver Silver Arts Award!
This is a six month project working towards gaining a national qualification in the arts, where young people will enhance their creative passion as well as develop their leadership skills. This programme is completely free to take part in, and open to young people aged 14 - 16.
An introduction to the project and a trip will take place on Tuesday 20th – Friday 23rd August from 10:00am – 3:00pm.
After that, sessions will run on Thursday evenings 4:30pm – 6:00pm at Grimm & Co’s Emporium of Stories from Thursday 12th September 2024 - March 2025.
The Silver Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification, that is achieved by young people developing their leadership, employability, and arts skills through taking part in innovative and fun creative activities. Awarded by leading exam board Trinity College London, the Silver Arts Award is a Level 2 qualification (meaning it’s the same level of “difficulty” as an A*-C GCSE) that can be included on college or UCAS applications, and on CVs.
