Silo Cinema is back this summer, and we're very excited to kick off our screenings with a homegrown film on Auckland Anniversary Weekend. Raised outside her Māori culture, Sam sets out on a mission to reconnect with her tupuna — Taranaki Maunga. Venturing out of hospital, Sam hopes scaling her ancestral mountain will also aid her battle against cancer. She joins two fellow misfits: Mallory the new kid in town, and self-proclaimed runaway Bronco. Together they embark on an unconventional journey, discovering the power of friendship.
Join us at Silo Park from 5pm to nab a good spot. There’ll be delicious food from our food trucks, a DJ cutting some fine tunes, and the Gently Loved Market with some preloved goodness. Film starts at 9pm.
