You're invited to Silicon Valley Rainbow Rotary’s High Five 5th Anniversary Gayla Brunch on Sunday, October 20, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Silicon Valley.
In addition to a tasty brunch, you'll hear from Rotary and community leaders, hear about our successes over the last five years, and have a blast! I'm so proud of the work my club has done over the last 5 years and would love for you to hear all about it!

Here's a quick recap of our accomplishments: Since our chartering in October 2019, we've focused on serving the LGBTQ+ community, hosting monthly meals at New Haven, our local LGBTQ+ homeless shelter, and for LGBTQ+ elders at the Billy DeFrank Vintage Group gatherings. We raised money for an LGBTQ+ organization after the Maui fire last year and partnered with Cupertino Rotary to provide achievement awards to LGBTQ+ high school students who've dropped out of school and who are working on their GEDs or trade certificates. Our work has extended beyond the LGBTQ+ community by doing city and creek clean ups, joining the caravans bringing food to migrate farmers along the California coast, installing solar panels on the roofs on local non-profits (in collaboration with Cupertino Rotary, other Rotary Clubs, and SunWork), and we even partnered with FAMA to build a school in Mexico - during the Covid lockdown no less.
We have enjoyed being part of Rotary and are helping to get the message out in the world that Rotary is welcoming of all. Come celebrate 5 years of doing good in the world!
