At this unique festival, Geoff Pearce will cut a pair of silhouettes of you and your family members. One is yours to keep and the other will go into a book of silhouettes and be placed on display in the Maitland Regional Museum for future visitors to enjoy.
There is no charge to you at all!!
Burton Automotive, a local family business serving customers for many decades, are delighted to be our sponsors.
Geoff will be available from 10 am until 4 pm. Each silhouette will take about 4 minutes to cut and mount onto a card. You will need to set an appointment time for EACH family member so please be on time!
Your participation in this event means that you agree to the following conditions:
1. As this is a heritage event, names and contact details will be recorded and given to the Maitland Regional Museum, and will only be used to contact participants for their promotional purposes.
2. Names and general regions where participants were born or lived may be included in the Museum’s book of silhouettes but home addresses and contact details will not be on display.
3. As a participant, you understand that you give permission for local or state media to video, photograph or interview you as part of their reportage on the Maitland Heritage Festival.
4. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who gives permission for the child to be a participant subject to these conditions. Upon registering, you will be asked for permission. You will also have the option of not permitting your child to be a participant, however you will still receive a silhouette of your child.
5. Silhouette Artist, Geoff Pearce, retains the copyright ownership of participants’ silhouette images and grants permission for participants to use their image for non commercial purposes only. For any commercial use of participant’s silhouette images, please contact Geoff Pearce.
6. Participants or parent/guardians of participating children, give Geoff Pearce permission to take photos of participants holding their silhouettes for purposes promoting silhouette cutting at any future event.
