The 800-lbs. sandstone tablet stands as a powerful symbol of resilience amidst the persecution faced by the Jewish communities of Germany, from the stone's installation in 1903 to its final journey from Germany to Florida in 2000. The exhibit explores the life of Jews in Egelsbach before, during, and after the Holocaust, bringing their history to life through the personal testimonies and archival documents of the Simon family of Egelsbach.
