Join this stunning guided trail run, starting and finishing at Silent Pool, a place admired by poet, Alfred Tennyson, considered a sacred site, haunted by the ghost of a young girl forced into the water by King John in the 1100's and most famously, home to the Silent Pool Gin Distillery. More importantly, it's home to some amazing trails. We will enjoy some great trails including some of the North Downs Way and the beautiful forest of Netley Heath before dropping down to the famous village of Shere, where we will pass film locations from 'The Holiday' and 'Bridget Jones Diary'. The route will include some nice wide trails (great for chatting) and some fun single track trails (which are a lot of fun) along the way.
This run is perfect for people new to trail running, runners who simply like to run with like minded people, or those that haven't felt comfortable running trails alone at dusk or night.
