Benedictines for Peace will host a Silent Peace Walk at Perry Square on Earth Day: Love the Earth; Lament the harm done to the Earth.In 2025, the US is increasing our production of greenhouse gasses and cutting environmental regulations, despite the disasters caused by allowing the planet to warm.
We will walk slowly, silently, in love for the Earth, and in lament for the suffering that human beings cause the Earth and all its inhabitants.
All are welcome to join this simple, nonviolent action for peace.
