About this Event
Join us for an empowering and informative session on Coercive Control with Dr. Lisha van Reyk from Deserving Better WA. She'll explain how to recognise coercive control, its impact on victims and the community, and provide tools to help you navigate it.
You'll also learn about the support systems we have—and the ones we still need—to better help anyone who may be experiencing this type of abuse.
This session is in support of the 16 Days in WA campaign which runs from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) through to 10 December (Human Rights Day) each year. The campaign takes its inspiration from the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
Light refreshments will be provided.
