
On Friday May 2 and Saturday May 3 2025 Ottawa chamber choir Seventeen Voyces with guests Caelis Academy Ensemble and the Ewashko Singers will mark the centennial of the 1925 legendary silent film Ben-Hur with live performances at St Matthew’s Anglican Church in the Glebe.
The silent film will be projected on a large screen and accompanied by the three choirs directed by local filmmaker and composer Kevin Reeves who will join forces with percussionists three solo singers and organ to perform music from Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and other works that will bring this classic silent film to life.
Event Details: Friday May 2 & Saturday May 3 2025 at 7:30PM at St Matthew’s Anglican Church 130 Glebe Avenue Ottawa. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students with children 12 and under free.
